Description:
The Wollongong Chapter No 59 Order of the Eastern Star Opportunity Scholarship awards $7,000 per year, for three years.
It aims to recognise the pivotal role nurses have played throughout the pandemic and support the next generation of front-line nursing professionals.
Eligibility:
- First year Bachelor of Nursing students
- Studying at the UOW Wollongong Campus
- Originate from or have strong ties to the Illawarra region
- Have financial, social, and/or educational disadvantages.
