Description: The University of Waikato College International Pathway Scholarship (hereafter Award) was established in 2024 to promote educational opportunities and support talented international students who have completed a programme of study offered by the University of Waikato College (hereafter College) to further their studies through a degree-programme offered by the University of Waikato. The Award is offered to all international fee-paying students with an Offer of Place within eligible
programmes of study offered by the College. The Award is applied in NZD$ to tuition fees only and is not transferrable. No application is required. Scholarship offers will be issued to eligible students within 8 weeks of the start of their College papers.
Eligibility:
To be eligible, students must:
1. be classified as an international feepaying student.
2. have enrolled in and begun an eligible programme of study offered by the College
3. be currently residing in New Zealand.
4. Students are ineligible if they:
-are enrolled in a Certificate of English Language at the College with Level 6 or lower.
-have already completed at least one paper towards a degree programme at the University of Waikato.
