Scholarship value: Up to $10,000 each 

Description: The Award was established in 2024 and is funded by the Faculty of Law to encourage and support academically outstanding students to undertake a Master of Intellectual Property, Master of Laws, Master of Legal Studies or Master of Taxation Studies at Auckland Law School.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for Award consideration, an applicant:

  •  must be enrolled, or enrolling, in their first semester of a Master of Intellectual Property (MIP), or a Master of Laws (LLM), or a Master of Legal Studies (MLS) or a Master of Taxation

Studies (MTaxS) at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.

  • Students who have already completed one

semester of study in their masters programme at the time of application, and who have at least one further semester

remaining to complete their masters programme may also be considered for an Award, pro-rated by their remaining

enrolment.

  • Students enrolled in an extension at the time of application may not be considered for an Award.
  • The Award is tenable by domestic or international students.
