Description: The Valle de la Lengua Campus has opened its second scholarship call for the 2025-2026 academic year. These scholarships are aimed at international students wishing to study one of the Spanish Language and Culture Courses at the University of La Rioja.

The main objective of this grant programme is to promote Spanish around the world, encouraging international students to study Spanish as a foreign language at the University of La Rioja.The Spanish Language and Culture Courses by the University of La Rioja are designed for students of any nationality who wish to learn or improve their Spanish skills. Taught by specialized university professors, they combine systematic instruction in grammar and vocabulary with the practice of communicative skills.

Eligibility:

• Have a department, section, unit or equivalent, related to language, history, culture, economics and/or art related to Spanish, and/or Hispanic studies.
• Must carry out an internal selection process to choose their candidate(s), ensuring transparency, equality, and objectivity.
• The scholarships are awarded to foreign universities that meet the requirements, but the final beneficiary is the student designated by the university.
