Description: The Santander Portugal Foundation (“Foundation”), as part of its activity of supporting Education, seeks to promote equal opportunities for young university students in access to Education, Employability and Entrepreneurship. In addition to seeking to promote access, permanence and success in university studies, without distinction of gender, ethnicity, religion or political, social or economic status, the Foundation aims to increase the international mobility of students residing in Portugal. In this sense, the Foundation created the Santander Foundation Scholarship Program for the Erasmus Program with the purpose of encouraging students to experience an international, multicultural experience, in different geographies and languages, enriching their academic curriculum and better preparing students for a personal and professional future that will inevitably involve greater proximity between people from all over the world. The objective of the Program is to support, through the granting of scholarships, university students with financial limitations enrolled in the Erasmus+ Program and who, during the academic year 2025/2026, attend Higher Education Institutions abroad, thus promoting student mobility and training at an international level.

Eligibility:

a) Registration or enrolment in a Higher Education Institution participating in the Programme and attendance of the First or Second Cycle of Studies (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees) in compliance with the eligibility criteria of the Erasmus+ programme.

b) Having applied for a mobility programme under the Erasmus+ Programme.
