Level of study: All levels of study

Study area: biology, geology, physics, mathematics and chemistry — as well as in any field of the humanities, arts or social sciences.

Scholarship value:

Research and study support – €1,000
To cover expenses related to further study and initial research activities.

Talent development support – €1,500
To support advanced training, participation in conferences, summer schools, internships, language courses, books, lab materials, and more. This amount is granted subject to approval by the scientific committee.

Supplementary social support – €1,000
Available to applicants whose household’s annual per capita income does not exceed €12,000. Applicants must submit proof of application to the Portuguese Directorate-General for Higher Education’s social support grants for the academic year 2025/2026. The Foundation will base its decision on the income figures assessed by this body.

Description: These scholarships are aimed at outstanding students enrolled in higher education in Portugal, supporting their talent and encouraging early engagement with research.
