Description: The University of New England has been selected by the Department of Education as one of the tertiary education institutions that will award a number of the NSW Education Waratah Scholarships.Recipients of this Scholarship will be known as Waratah Scholars. The NSW Education Waratah Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis in the form of a top-up scholarship to an RTP stipend to higher degree research students undertaking research aligned with one or more of the research priorities that align with the Department’s Strategic plan and goals.The NSW Education Waratah Scholarship amounts to AU$10,000 tax-free per annum over upto a three (3) year period. Eligibility:

Recipients must be:

• Currently in receipt of a RTP Scholarship, or have been awarded a RTP Scholarship and planning to commence by 30 June 2025
• Enrolled on a full time basis, or planning to commence by 30 June 2025 Engaged in a research project that aligns with one or more of the following departmental research priorities:Transition;Wellbeing;Pedagogical Innovation;Inclusiveness;Learning Environments;Quality Teaching;Workforce Development.
