Level A: $14,015.40 per year (2 sessions, equivalent to 30 credits) or $7,007.70  per session (15 credits) or $467.18 per credit

Level B: $6,679.2 per year (2 sessions, equivalent to 30 credits) or $3,339.60 per session (15 credits) or $222.64 per credit

Masters:

Research: $15,452.55 per year (3 sessions, equivalent to 45 credits) or $5,150.85 per session (equivalent to 15 credits) or $343.39 per credit

Non-Research: $11,004.30 per year (3 sessions, equivalent to 45 credits) or $3,668.10 per session (equivalent to 15 credits) or $244.54 per credit

PhD:

$23,367.15 per year (3 sessions, equivalent to 45 credits) or $7,789.05 per session (equivalent to 15 credits) or $519.27 per credit for the entire duration of your studies.

Description: The UdeM exemption scholarship program is designed to support international candidates in their university studies. Since the fall of 2020, it is possible to benefit from an exemption from the tuition fees normally charged to international students.The Montreal Scholarship continues for Winter 2026, Summer 2026, Autumn 2026, and Winter 2027 terms.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the UdeM exemption scholarship,you must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Must be an international student.
  • You must hold a study permit and are neither a permanent resident of Canada nor hold Canadian citizenship.
  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a study program throughout their studies at the Université de Montréal.
