Scholarship value:
- If the applicants´ home institution is in Catalonia, the monthly stipend will be 300 euros per month gross.
- If the applicants´ home institution is outside of Catalonia, the monthly stipend will be 600 euros per month gross.
- Eligible travel expenses to Catalonia are also covered.
Description: ICFO offers competitive Student Research Fellowships to support outstanding undergraduate and masters students worldwide wanting to undertake a research project, or complete their Bachelor or masters thesis with an ICFO research group. The program aims to promote research excellence in Spain. It offers a limited number of fellowships to outstanding students from top Universities worldwide.The program offers early exposure to frontier science and research and allows outstanding students to experience first-hand the excitement and challenges of cutting-edge research.
Eligibility:
- Candidates must be part of a DigiQ network or be committed to joining a DigiQ network at the next possible date.
- Candidates must be enrolled in a master’s program at a DigiQ partner institution or Affiliated Partner institution for the full duration of the internship at ICFO.
- Candidates should have a high working knowledge of English.
- Selection of Fellows is based on merit and potential, measured in terms of academic records and personal achievements. Proactive attitudes, participation in community activities, and capacity for team-work are also taken into account.
