Description: The 2025 University of Wollongong Undergraduate Excellence Scholarships are open to applicants with bachelor’s degrees in any of the following fields: Psychology, Social Work, Exercise Science & Rehabilitation, Nutrition & Dietetics, Nursing, Medicine & Surgery, and Science (Nutrition or Exercise Science).The University of Wollongong (UOW) Excellence Scholarship is a merit-based award designed to support high-achieving students in their undergraduate or postgraduate studies.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the scholarships students must:
- enrol in any UOW undergraduate course in 2025 (Australian campuses only) – this includes honours degrees commenced the year following completion. Excluding; Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, Bachelor of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, Bachelor of Nutrition Science, Bachelor of Exercise Science, Bachelor of Education (Primary, Mathematics, Science, Health and Physical Education, Early Years), Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Psychological Science, Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)
- be a international student
- have excellent results in one of the following categories:
- Australian Year 12 or equivalent international secondary school qualification;
- Foundation Studies programs approved for direct admission to Bachelor degrees and offered at an institution recognised by UOW;
- Diploma or other academic pathway program approved for admission with credit exemption from an institution with which UOW has a formal agreement;
- Academic programs (including Bachelor degrees) approved for admission into Bachelor degrees and offered at an institution recognised by UOW
- not be in receipt of any other scholarship (excluding stipend scholarships), sponsorship, bursary or discount
- achieve a minimum cumulative Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 50
- students course transferring will no longer be eligible for the scholarship
