Description: DAAD Funds the Summer Courses offered in German Universities for foreign students and graduates. The applications are open for the DAAD University Summer Courses 2025 in Germany. The objective of the DAAD University Summer Courses is to deepen knowledge of the German language (General language, technical language) and regional studies among international students. These summer courses are offered by German state-recognized universities. Bachelor and master’s degree students from all disciplines are eligible to apply.

Eligibility:

• Enrolled Undergraduate and Master’s degree students can apply.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Students from any academic discipline can apply.
• Undergraduate students must have completed at least two years of undergraduate study before the start of the summer courses in Germany.
• The language of the course is German.
• Applicants must provide proof of a minimum language level of A2.
• The courses last at least 18 teaching days (maximum 5 days per week, excluding arrival and departure days), with a minimum of 25 teaching hours per week. They are taught exclusively in German and are offered during the summer months (usually starting in June) during the semester break.
• Participation takes place exclusively in presence.
