Study area: This scholarship aims to support low socio-economic students commencing a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

Scholarship value:

This scholarship will provide academic course fees (capped at CSP rate) for the first 3 years of the Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

$500 each semester for the purchase of books and is tenable for the first 3 years.

Description: This scholarship was established in 2021 through the generous donation of the William Charles Watling – Bequest. It provides financial support to low socio-economic students entering the Bachelorof Veterinary Biology degree/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Sydney.

Eligibility:

  • be domestic student
  • have an unconditional offer of admission and commencing full-time study in the Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine 
  • be able to demonstrate low socio-economic status via the Early Offer Year 12 (E12) Scheme
  • complete the application form containing the personal statements and supporting documents i. e. evidence of ATSI identity and primary residential address.
