Description: The International Academic Excellence Scholarship is open to incoming international undergraduate students attending secondary or high school outside the United States. The award is based on the U.S. standard Grade Point Average (GPA). GPA is calculated by adding up all course grades and then dividing by the total credit hours. Most high schools use a 4.0 scale, with the highest grade, A, equal to 4.0.

Eligibility:

• International undergraduate student (not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident)
• Hold a valid temporary U.S. visa such as F-1 or J-1
• Entering as a first-time freshman: no prior college coursework or fewer than 18 transferable college credits
• Pursuing a first bachelor’s degree
• Completed secondary/high school education outside the United States
• Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale
• English Language Proficiency (One of the Following)

– TOEFL iBT ≥ 69

– IELTS Academic ≥ 5.5

– Duolingo English Test ≥ 100

– Or equivalent scores from PTE or other approved English exams
